Overview

Who Can Join?

SCLN membership is open to anyone with a professional interest in construction, engineering, infrastructure law, and the built environment in Nigeria. As a truly multidisciplinary society, SCLN welcome professionals from across the full spectrum of construction and capital project activities, not only lawyers.

Our members include barristers and solicitors advising on construction and infrastructure matters; arbitrators, adjudicators, mediators, and other dispute resolution practitioners; civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, geotechnical, and environmental engineers; architects, builders, quantity surveyors, estate surveyors and valuers, building surveyors, and urban and regional planners; project, programme, and construction managers; contract administrators and procurement professionals; health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practitioners; contractors, consultants, developers, facility and asset managers; public sector procurement, infrastructure, and regulatory officers; financiers and other professionals involved in project finance and infrastructure development; academics, researchers, and students.

Whether you work on or advise in relation to airports, roads, bridges, railways, seaports, power plants, dams, oil and gas facilities, utilities, telecommunications infrastructure, housing developments, commercial real estate, or any other construction or capital project in Nigeria, SCLN provides an ideal platform for professional development, knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration.
